Job Description
|
This position is responsible for building global brand strength by working closely with local franchise teams, agencies, and other functions. Specific responsibilities include:
Manage the launch of the Belong campaign for assigned country markets. Work closely with franchise CEOs/CMOs and teams to ensure successful campaign launches as measured by market research and business results.
Manage DCIs media and creative agency of record. Supervise day-to-day management and implementation of agency marketing initiatives and investment around the world.
Manage other internal and external agencies and agency projects, including Corporate Branding and Creative Services and website vendors.
Manage the evolution of all marketing materials, including the Brand Standards, Card Art, and Belong Global Advertising Campaign.
Develop and enhance brand presence across all media. Ensure accountability and measure effectiveness of programs. Work closely with Finance for budgeting and control.
Collaborate with other functions within DCI and across Payment Services and Discover Card to ensure branding integrity for Diners Club and integration of Belong campaign messaging across all customer touchpoints.
Cultivate strong relationships with regions, product management, and franchise marketing teams. Create a deeper understanding of DCI marketing strategy with key constituencies.
Present marketing recommendations and generate support with senior level management and across the organization.

Qualifications
|
Expert budget management, financial reporting, negotiation, oral and written presentation skills.
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing marketing strategies based on business objectives and management of direct reports and/or external agency partners.
Skilled in graphic design and design software.
Excellent creative skills.
International experience and background.
Advertising experience on a global scale.
Experience working with C-level management.
Masters Degree in Marketing and International Business 10+ years experience This person will need to have the ability to exercise a strong work ethic to manage global responsibilities within a lean team of marketing professionals. Must be able to work with people at all levels from vastly different cultural and social backgrounds. Must be very goal focused with the ability to drive complex projects to execution multiple times per year. |
